Jaclyn

Jaclyn is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with nine years of experience working with children in school and outpatient pediatric settings. She is passionate about helping children develop meaningful, functional communication skills through individualized, play-based therapy. Her background includes working with children with a wide range of speech, language, and developmental needs, with a particular passion for helping children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).

Jaclyn leads our Apraxia Intensives Program, providing specialized, individualized therapy for children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech. With her expertise in motor speech disorders and PROMPT training, Jaclyn helps children build the speech skills they need to communicate more effectively. She understands that every child's communication journey is unique and works closely with families to celebrate progress, build confidence, and support meaningful communication.

In addition to her clinical work, Jaclyn serves as our Preschool Outreach Coordinator, building relationships with local preschools and helping educators access valuable resources to support young learners. She coordinates preschool speech and language screenings, shares early intervention resources and practical classroom strategies, and helps preschool staff recognize when children may benefit from additional support. Her experience in both school and clinical settings allows her to bridge the gap between therapy and the classroom, supporting children, families, and educators.

Jaclyn's specialties include Childhood Apraxia of Speech, motor speech disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), early childhood language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, and supporting children with autism and complex communication needs. She is PROMPT trained and has experience coordinating social play groups, mentoring fellow clinicians, and educating families about their children's communication development. Whether she is helping a child find their voice or connecting a preschool with valuable resources, Jaclyn is committed to helping every child thrive.
