Kathleen is a highly experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with more than 35 years of experience across pediatric private practice, early intervention, school, hospital, rehabilitation, and medically complex settings. She has worked with children from infancy through young adulthood and brings an exceptional depth of knowledge to children with feeding, swallowing, speech, language, and communication needs. Her pediatric experience has included NICU care, early intervention, outpatient rehabilitation, and working with children with autism and multiple disabilities.
Kathleen has extensive experience in pediatric feeding and swallowing therapy and is especially skilled in working with infants, children, and young adults with complex medical and developmental needs. Her background includes oral motor and feeding therapy, dysphagia evaluation and treatment, Modified Barium Swallow Studies, and specialized training in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding.
Kathleen’s specialties include feeding and swallowing disorders, infant feeding, oral motor difficulties, AAC, Autism Spectrum Disorder, medically complex children, and speech and language disorders. She has extensive experience evaluating and supporting children who use augmentative and alternative communication and collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams to help children communicate successfully across environments. Her many years of clinical experience make Kathleen an incredible resource for children with more complex therapy needs and their families.
