Speech Therapist

Nichole Crocker, MCD, CCC-SLP, is a compassionate and highly experienced Speech-Language Pathologist with over seven years of clinical expertise in pediatric and rehabilitation settings. She brings a deep commitment to providing neurodiversity-affirming, evidence-based care, with particular specialization in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), autism spectrum disorder, and language-based learning differences.


Nichole has worked extensively with children from preschool through 5th grade in public schools, outpatient clinics, and teletherapy. She has served diverse populations with a wide range of diagnoses, including intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, epilepsy, and dual diagnoses. At Gwinnett County Public Schools, she led school-wide initiatives to celebrate exceptional children and collaborated closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure individualized, culturally responsive support.


Her experience also includes inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation at the renowned Shepherd Center, where she treated adolescents and adults with spinal cord and brain injuries. She has conducted and interpreted Modified Barium Swallow Studies, facilitated voice endoscopies, and created innovative group therapy sessions focused on executive function, social-emotional development, and cognitive-communication skills.


Nichole holds a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University and a Bachelor’s in Special Education from Georgia College. She is licensed in the state of Georgia and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. She is also trained in inclusive education, AAC systems, and has a strong foundation in supporting bilingual and multilingual families.


Nichole’s approach to therapy is collaborative, personalized, and play-based, ensuring each child feels seen, heard, and supported every step of the way
